Back from the Wild West

If you're thinking as you look through the photos below, were there any members on camp coz there's none in the photos, that's because as leaders we're not allowed to upload photos onto public sites like blogs and facebook. But there were members there, it wasn't just a jolly for leaders, although I did have loads and loads of fun!!!! :-)

I love camp! Simple as that!

Learning the Cha-cha

Me rockclimbing! Well actually just posing for the photo as we were wating for the members who were scrambling through some rocks!

Then it started to rain. Pleasant!

But thankfully one of the instructors had a survival thing called 'a slug' which he let me and Zoe use. It's bascially like a big parachute which you throw up and then move under and sit on the edges.

Here's Zoe and me surviving in the slug...

Sheriff Simon, one of the overall leaders...

...was unfortunately shot!

"Who shot the sheriff?" Looking for potential suspects in Harrogate, featured below...

Amusing ourselves whilst the members were sailing...

Carl, aka 'Chief Snoozing Badger' giving the daily report during evening entz. The leader who had done the most ridiculous thing during the day had to do the rain dance.

Very, very funny, I am just smiling as I reminisce :-)

Chief Snoozing Badger's wife...

We had our own version of "The Apprentice" on camp "The Cowboy Apprentice". Sheriff Al Ansugar was looking for a new cowboy apprentice. One of the tasks was to dance. Seonaid choose JT to help her complete the task...considering JT's previous dance talents seen on camp was this a wise choice we all asked? As you can see Sir Al Ansugar and the judges are not looking too impressed in the background :-) The rest of us loved it!!!

Dan and Viv did somewhat better!

Another year, another camp. Full of good memories. Roll on camp 2009...
