Visiting Hull...

Last weekend before the madness of packing began I travelled the M62 to visit Carl and Lizzie (mates from Ashville camp) in Hull. I had a lovely time...eating Chinese with Lizzie, meeting up with Chrissy and Lucy (dorm members from camp) to drink tea and eat cake, going to Morrisons (!), playing crocquet at youth group which I've not played for years, going to York, watching Strictly and beating Carl and Andy at Articulate!

Are you impressed by the artisticness of this photo? Basically I wanted to take a photo of the Minister, "Where would be a good place?" I thought. Right next to the photographer man with the tripod! He didn't seem to mind once I'd explained my actions :-)

Carl's not looking too happy here as he wanted to watch the rugby...which he did get to see the 2nd half. And he explained the rules to me (never quite understood them before, although I have been in a scrum), and it was much better than I expected!
